The First LMS Walking Pilgrimage to Walsingham

With great joy in East Anglia we welcome the news that the first ever LMS walking pilgrimage to Walsingham will be setting off from Ely Cathedral on the morning of Friday 20th August, 2010. The pilgrims will be accompanied by Fr Alexander Redman and the LMS Chairman, Joseph Shaw.

Traditional Missa Cantata will be celebrated each day at the approximate times:

Friday 20th August 6pm at Downham Market
Saturday 21st August 12pm at the Private Chapel of Oxburgh Hall
Sunday 22nd August 2.30pm in the Catholic Shrine of Walsingham

There will also be a blessing for the embarking pilgrims at Ely Cathedral on Friday 20th at 7am.

Please note that the above times can only remain approximations subject to the speed, fitness and progress of the walking pilgrims.

Please support this wonderful initiative in whatever way you can. If you would like to complete the entire pilgrimage on foot please contact the LMS office on 020 7404 7284. If you wish to attend the Masses only please contact Lech on 07793 462 949. It would be a sign of great support for traditional rite to see as many faces as possible to welcome in the pilgrims to Walsingham.
