The Traditional Rite returns to Bottisham

After 450 years and with the gracious permission of the Vicar and Churchwardens of Holy Trinity Church, the Traditional Mass returned to the village of Bottisham on Sunday 25th July. With the approval of the Bishop of East Anglia and Mgr Harkness, Parish Priest to St.Philip Howard, Cambridge, Fr Christopher Back celebrated Mass behind the beautiful three-arch medieval chancel screen. It was a pleasure for the congregation to attend Mass in the nave, aisles and porches that are exactly how the builders left them in the fourteenth century!
