Confirmations in the Traditional Rite at St. James' Church, Spanish Place, on November 20th.

Some 300 people were present at St. James' Church, Spanish Place, to witness the confirmation of 39 candidates. The ceremony was carried out by Bishop George Stack, Auxiliary Bishop of Westminster, with the support of Archbishop Vincent Nichols. The ceremony was followed by Solemn Pontifical Benediction.

Edward Marshall, eleven years old and a member of St Laurence's parish, Cambridge, was the only candidate from East Anglia to be confirmed this year.
