Spiritual bouquet for the Holy Father

As you may already know, 2011 marks the 60^th anniversary of Pope Benedict XVI’s ordination to the priesthood.

To mark this joyful occasion, the LMS is proposing to present the Holy Father with a spiritual bouquet later this year.

There are many ways of doing this and the following are only examples:

Masses
Holy Communions
Stations of the Cross

Five decade RosariesDivine Mercy Chaplets
Adorations of the Blessed Sacrament

On Sunday at St.  Laurence's I shall have forms for those of you who would like to participate. I'll then send them back to the LMS office and they will later make their way to the Pope.

 The anniversary falls on 29 June, although obviously the prayers and devotions can be carried out in the weeks leading up to and after the anniversary itself. We last presented Pope Benedict with a Spiritual Bouquet in 2008 in thanks for Summorum Pontificum, and, for simplicity’s sake, we  have used the same categories of offering as then.
