High Nuptial Mass in Cambridge

Yesterday afternoon saw the wedding of Gregor Dick and Alisa Koonce at Our Lady and the English Martyrs Church, Cambridge. The High Nuptial Mass was celebrated by Fr Christopher Back, with Fr Timothy Finnigan as deacon and Fr. Bernard McNally as sub-deacon. The MC was Berthold Kress, the thurifer was Nigel Morgan and the acolytes were Justin Goddard and Edward Marshall. The bridesmaids were Miriam Wendling and Charlotte Marshall. The truly beautiful singing was by the Anglorum Chorus, led by Christopher Hodkinson with David Allsopp, Peter Brett, Andrew Clichy, Daniel Hanlon and Paul Kolb. The orgainist was Nigel Kerry and the best man Finlay Dick.

The Mass was truly beautiful and the first one of its kind to be celebrated at OLEM for over 40 years. Alisa and Gregor worship  regularly at the Old Rite Mass at St Laurence's Church in Cambridge. We all wish them every happiness and blessing for the future.

I took quite a few pictures which I will post over the next few days.

Contemplating what it's all about.
