Despite a recent note from The Catholic Herald to the effect that the Holy Father's New book, 'The Infancy Narratives' will be on sale in Britain from early December, mine arrived a few days ago. It is true however that I got my copy from a well-known on-line store. What of the book itself? It is a good deal slimmer than the previous two volumes but is nevertheless packed with insights into the birth and early life of Christ. I haven't yet had time to read the entire tome, but when I do I might well give my impressions of it for this blog.
