Are we entering a Brave New World?

The Telegraph reported yesterday that "St Margaret's Children and Family Care Society in Glasgow was found to discriminate against homosexuals by giving higher priority to couples who have been married for at least two years.

The Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) reviewed the practices of the adoption agency following a complaint from the National Secular Society."

A good discussion of this crisis in Western civilisation is to be found at areluctantsinner. As this blog so succinctly says:

"If or when same-sex marriage becomes a legal concept in the UK, people will lose their jobs, community organisations (especially faith-based ones) will be hounded, Catholic schools may even be forced to close rather than teach something that is contrary to Church teaching – based, as it is, in the truth that surrounds us. We are sleep-walking into a nightmare of Orwellian proportions as Archbishop Vincent Nichols recently said, and the Church must cry out: Wake-up, dear people, before it's too late!"
