Seminarians at St Mary's College, Oscott, refused the Traditional Latin Mass.

From Damian Thompson at the Daily Telegraph we also learn that the Traditional Latin Mass has been banned at St Mary's College Oscott, which was recently visited by the Pope.

The news was broken to the students in the 'House Notes' stating that an advisory group of bishops had ruled that...."the Extraordinary Form was not to be celebrated here but that seminarians were free, within the constraints of our timetable, to experience the Extraordinary Form where it is provided locally, both at home and here in the Archdiocese of Birmingham."

Many seminarians are understandably upset at the ruling, which certainly goes against the spirit of Summorum Pontificum.
